TRAVEL & TOURS – EXECUTIVE OFFICER
The main responsibility of Travel and Tours Executive Officer is to oversee Travel & Tours Division and monitoring all aspects, ensuring smooth operations and excellent customer service.
Academic Qualification
- Minimum Bachelor’s Degree in any of the following fields:
- Tourism Management / Hospitality / Travel Operations
- Business Administration / Management
- Marketing / Communications
- Office Administration or related discipline
- Additional Advantage:
- Certificate or Diploma in IATA Travel and Ticketing
- Certified Tour Guide
- Certificate in Customer Service Excellence or Leadership / Supervisory Training
Professional Experience
- At least 5-10 years working experience in Hospitality and Tourism industry preferably in:
- Ticketing and reservations
- Travel planning and coordination
- Hajj & Umrah operations
- Customer handling or administration
- Inbound Tours
- Experience in group travel management, itinerary planning, or liaising with airlines, hotels, and travel partners is an added advantage.
Technical Competencies
- Proficient in Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook)
- Proficient in using computerized Sabre reservation system
- Able to handle travel quotations, bookings, invoicing, and documentation
- Understanding of visa processes, insurance requirements, and travel policies
Language Proficiency
- Good command of both Bahasa Melayu and English (spoken and written)
- Knowledge of other languages such as Chinese, Korean and Japanese will be an added advantage
Personal Attributes
- Strong organizational and multitasking skills
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- High level of integrity, responsibility, and confidentiality
- Customer-focused, courteous, and professional in appearance and
conduct - Able to work independently and in a team environment
- Willing to travel domestically and internationally as and when required
Other Requirements
- Possess a valid driving license (Class 3 preferred)
- Willing to work beyond normal office hours and during public holiday.
- Familiar with Brunei’s travel and tourism regulations and company standard operating procedures
